Semarang | Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS) welcomed an official visit from the Rector and leadership team of Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (UNTAG) Semarang as part of a comparative study held at the GKB III Building.

The visit was attended by leaders from both institutions, including UNIMUS vice rectors and the Rector of UNTAG Semarang along with their respective teams. In the opening remarks, UNIMUS representatives expressed their appreciation for the visit, highlighting it as an opportunity to strengthen institutional relations and exchange insights on university management.

The Rector of UNTAG Semarang conveyed admiration for UNIMUS’s development, particularly in terms of infrastructure and its progressive academic environment. He noted that the visit provided valuable inspiration for institutional advancement.
The agenda continued with a panel discussion covering strategic topics such as university governance, institutional development, and potential academic collaborations between the two institutions.

As a concrete outcome of the meeting, both universities signed an Implementation Agreement (IA), establishing a formal foundation for cooperation in education, research, and community service.
This visit is expected to further strengthen the partnership between UNIMUS and UNTAG Semarang, fostering sustainable collaboration to enhance the quality and global competitiveness of higher education institutions.
