Malang | Teams from the Student Organization Capacity Building Program (PPK Ormawa) of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS) once again achieved remarkable success at the Kontes Kapasitas Indonesia 2025 and Abdidaya Ormawa 2025, held at Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang. In this year’s competition, UNIMUS secured several prestigious awards, including two First Place and two Second Place titles, highlighting the university’s consistency in fostering innovative and impactful student organizations.
Among the notable achievements, UNIMUS teams won First Place in the Most Informative Poster category and First Place during the Closing Night of KKI and Abdidaya Ormawa 2025. Additional awards were also earned across various categories related to sustainability, innovation, and program impact.

Overall, UNIMUS received Fourth Place in the Best Sustainability University category, Second Place for Best Sustainable Supervisor awarded to Laily Muntasiroh, Second Place in the Most Innovative Student Organization category (PPKO IMM Ar Fachrudin), and First Place in the category of Strongest Community Impact Team (PPKO IMM Ahmad Dahlan). The Most Informative Poster award was also achieved by PPKO Himatika.
The event was attended by prominent national figures, including a presidential special advisor, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, regional higher education authorities, university leaders, and hundreds of students from across Indonesia. Their presence underscored the importance of this event in strengthening student competencies and organizational capacity.

In his remarks, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology expressed appreciation to the host institution and emphasized that the competencies developed through KKI and Abdidaya Ormawa are exceptional and not widely possessed by most students. He described the participants as outstanding representatives with strategic roles in shaping future societal transformation.
Participants were also encouraged to remain persistent and resilient, as success is often achieved through determination and continuous effort.

The series of achievements earned by UNIMUS PPK Ormawa teams reflects the university’s strong commitment to nurturing innovative, competitive, and socially impactful students. This accomplishment further reinforces UNIMUS’ position as a higher education institution that consistently promotes student empowerment through sustainable programs.
