Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (UNIMUS) organized a refresher program on its Academic Information System (SIAMUS) alongside a service excellence training session for academic administrative staff. This initiative aims to improve the quality of academic services while optimizing the utilization of the academic information system within the university.

The Head of the Organizing Committee, Rosita Lihasari, S.Sos., M.Si., who also serves as the Head of the Academic Administration Bureau at UNIMUS, stated that this training plays an important role in strengthening the professionalism of academic staff, particularly in delivering front-line academic services.
She explained that service excellence training is essential in equipping staff with the necessary skills to provide effective services to students, university leaders, and the broader community.

According to her, the training not only enhances communication skills and service ethics but also serves as a foundation for carrying out daily responsibilities in a professional, responsive, and service-oriented manner.
In addition to the service excellence session, the program also included a SIAMUS refresher. Rosita noted that this session aimed to introduce newly developed features within the system and to provide guidance for newly appointed staff.

She further emphasized that through this refresher program, staff are expected to maximize the use of updated system features, thereby improving work efficiency and overall performance.
Rosita expressed hope that this initiative would lead to improved academic service quality at UNIMUS and ensure the optimal use of SIAMUS in supporting academic administrative processes.
She also highlighted that following this training, front-office academic services are expected to become more efficient and that all SIAMUS functionalities can be fully utilized to support daily operations.
Through this initiative, UNIMUS reaffirms its commitment to enhancing academic service quality by strengthening staff professionalism and leveraging information technology effectively.
